How to Install Printer Driver On Mac

  1. Locate the printer driver file in the destination folder on your Mac system.
  2. Click on the file to initiate the installation.
  3. Once you click, a Welcome to HP Easy Start window opens.

  4. Accept the License Agreement by tapping the checkbox next to it. And, tap the Continue button present at the bottom right corner of the display.
  5. Now a Prepare Printer for Setup window opens. Glance through the information in the window and click Continue.

  6. Carry on with the procedure by clicking Continue.
  7. When the Install screen opens, select the checkbox near the software which you need to install. And, click the Install button present at the bottom right corner of the screen.

  8. Provide the password of your Mac device and click Install.

  9. Wait until your system installs the Essential software and HP Easy Scan app.
  10. Once the software gets installed, click Continue.

  11. Now a Status and Alerts window appears on the screen.
  12. Set your preferences and click Continue.
  13. Add your printer and verify it.

  14. Click the Add Device button under Add and Verify to include your printer.

  15. Print a test page by going through the guidelines on the display.
  16. Set your preference in the Reminder Me screen.

  17. Thus the HP printer software is installed on your computer.
  18. Click Continue Online if needed and complete the process.
