GUIDANCE FOR EPSON ET 2760 PRINTER SETUP

The Epson ET 2760 printer setup uses the black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink cartridges for providing exceptional print quality. The printer supports plain paper. Quick steps to set up the printer hardware of the printer are given on this page.

EPSON ET 2760 PRINTER SETUP

Unpacking the printer 

  1. Check if all the essentials components are included in the box.
  2. Take all the protective materials from the outside and inside of the Epson ET 2760 printer.
  3. Also, peel off the protective tapes from it.

Filling ink tanks

  1. Raise the printer’s top cover.
  2. Lift the ink tank cover and open the black ink tank cap.
  3. Remove a new black ink bottle from the package.
  4. Fill the black ink tank with ink.
  5. Close the black ink tank cap.
  6. Do the same to fill the rest of the ink tanks.
  7. Close the printer’s top cover properly.

Power connection

  1. Plug the printer’s power cord into an electrical outlet.
  2. Lift the control panel and press the Power button.
  3. This will power up the Epson ET 2760 printer setup.

Initial settings

  1. Using the navigation buttons, choose your language and press OK.
  2. Proceed with the LCD panel instructions to finish the ink charging process.

Loading paper

  1. Raise the paper support.
  2. Place paper with its glossy or printable side facing up in the feed slot.
  3. Pull the output tray out from the printer.
  4. Set the paper settings on the printer’s control panel.

Installing a printer software

  1. Make sure the Epson printer is not connected to your computer.
  2. Insert the setup CD into the computer’s CD-ROM drive.
  3. Proceed with the prompts to finish the installation.
  4. Note: If your computer does not have a CD-ROM drive or lost the setup CD, download the Epson ET 2760 printer software from the official Epson ET 2760 printer setup web page.
  5. While installing it, you will see the Select Your Connection window on the screen.
  6. Choose a connection type and establish the connection between the printer and computer.

EPSON ET 2760 AIRPRINT SETUP

  1. Load some plain paper into the printer’s sheet feeder.
  2. Connect both your iOS device and the Epson ET 2760 printer to the same wireless network.
  3. Open a photo for printing on your iOS device.
  4. Tap the Share icon followed by the Print option.
  5. Select the printer name and tap Print.

EPSON ET 2760 ETHERNET SETUP

  1. Download the printer driver from the official Epson web page.
  2. Install it on your computer by performing the on-screen instructions.
  3. While installing, select the Wired connection option in the Select Your Connection window.
  4. Using an Ethernet cable, establish a connection between the rear port of the Epson ET 2760 printer setup and the Ethernet port of the computer.

EPSON ET 2760 PRINT HEAD ALIGNMENT

  1. Place enough plain paper in the sheet feeder.
  2. Press the Home button on the Epson ET 2760 printer’s control panel.
  3. Select Maintenance -> Print Head Alignment -> OK.
  4. Choose the Vertical Alignment or Horizontal Alignment option and then press OK.
  5. Once you press OK, the printer prints an alignment sheet.
  6. Check for the printed pattern.
  7. Choose the number representing the most solid printed pattern and press OK.

EPSON ET 2760 PRINT FROM IPHONE

  1. Make sure both your iPhone and the Epson ET 2760 printer setup are connected to the same wireless network.
  2. Download and install the Epson iPrint application from the App Store app.
  3. Launch the app and choose the printer name.
  4. Tap the Print Photos or Print Documents option.
  5. Edit the photo or document if needed.
  6. Tap the Print option at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

EPSON ET 2760 DOUBLE SIDED PRINTING

  1. Place enough plain paper with its printable side facing up in the sheet feeder.
  2. Open the printer program on your computer.
  3. To print both the sides of the paper, choose any one of the following options from the 2-Sided Printing drop-down menu.
  4. Auto (long-edge binding)
  5. Auto (Short-edge binding)
  6. Manual (Long-edge binding)
  7. Manual (Short-edge binding)
  8. Click the Settings option. This will open the Binding Settings dialog window.
  9. Select the radio button beside any one of the following options.
  10. Left Long-edge
  11. Top Short-edge
  12. Right Long-edge
  13. Return to the previous dialog window by clicking the OK button.
  14. Click Print Density to open the Epson ET 2760 printer setup Density Adjustments dialog window.
  15. Navigate to the ‘Select Document Type’ section and choose your document type.
  16. If needed, go to the Adjustments section and set a print density.
  17. Return to the previous tab.
  18. Click OK to print the document.
  19. Carry out the display panel instructions during printing.

EPSON ET 2760 PRINT ENVELOPES

  1. Flip the printer’s feeder guard forward.
  2. Lift the paper support and draw out the output tray.
  3. Move the edge guides.
  4. You can place up to a maximum of 10 envelopes.
  5. The printable side of the envelope must face up in the sheet feeder.
  6. Align the edge guides and flip the feeder guard back.
  7. Open your document.
  1. Launch the Epson ET 2760 printer setup Preferences window by selecting the Print option followed by the Properties option.
  2. Navigate to the Main tab, go to the Orientation field, and select the Landscape option.
  3. Set the additional print preferences.
  4. Once you click OK, the printer starts to print the envelope.

EPSON ET 2760 SCANNER SETUP 

This printer uses a flatbed scanner type. The scanning resolution is 1200 dpi (main scan) and 2400 dpi (sub-scan). To know how to set up and perform scanning on the Epson ET 2760 printer, refer to the steps provided on this web page. 

EPSON ET 2760 SCAN TO COMPUTER

  1. Place your original document on the scanner glass.
  2. On the Epson ET 2760 printer’s control panel, select Scan and press OK.
  3. Choose the ‘To Computer (JPEG)’ or ‘To Computer (PDF)’ option and then press the OK button.
  4. Select the USB Connection option if you are using a USB cable for establishing a connection between the Epson ET 2760 printer setup and your computer.
  5. If you have connected the printer over a network, select the target computer.
  6. After you press the Start button, the printer scans the document.
  7. The scanned document will be saved as JPEG or PDF on the computer.

EPSON ET 2760 SCAN TO EMAIL

  1. Place your document on the Epson ET 2760 printer’s scanner glass. 
  2. Note: The printed side of the document must face down on the scanner glass.
  3. On the printer’s control panel, select the Scan option followed by the To Computer (Email) option and press OK.
  4. Select the computer name if you have connected the printer over a wireless network.
  5. Select the USB Connection option if the printer is directly connected to your computer using a USB cable.
  6. Once you press Start, the Epson ET 2760 printer setup begins to scan the document.
  7. Now, the scanned document will be sent to the default email program as an attachment.

EPSON ET 2760 SCAN MULTIPLE PAGES

  1. Download and install the Epson Scan 2 software on your Windows 10 computer.
  2. Click the Start icon and select the Epson option followed by the Epson Scan 2 option.
  3. This will open the Epson Scan 2 software.
  4. Choose the Multi Tiff or PDF option from the Image Format menu.
  5. Set the other required scan settings.
  6. Click OK or Scan to start scanning.
  7. Continue with the on-screen prompts to scan multiple pages on the Epson ET 2760 printer.

EPSON ET 2760 SCAN DRIVER

  1. You can even scan using the scanning program. 
  2. The scan driver can be downloaded from the official Epson website. Install it as per the computer’s on-screen instructions.
  3. Launch the scanning program on your computer and set your scan preferences.
  4. The Epson ET 2760 printer scans the document according to the specified scan settings.
