Canon Maxify Mb2750 Setup

Canon Maxify MB2750 is an all-in-one compact printer, perfect for the home and office use. It provides fast printing at the rate of 24 ipm for mono printing and supports advanced features like mobile printing and cloud integration. Read the below steps to set up the Canon Maxify MB2750 printer.

Step-1: Unpack the printer

  1. Open the carton, take out the printer, and place it on a flat surface.
  2. Look for the other printer accessories in the box and keep them outside safely.
  3. Remove all the protective tapes and packaging materials from the printer.
  4. Open the front cover, remove the protective materials from the inside, and then close it.
  5. Next, open the rear cover and take out the protective materials from inside.
  6. Close the rear cover and make sure you remove all the packaging materials from the printer.

Step-2: Power connection

  1. Plug the power cord supplied with the printer to a wall socket and connect the other end to the printer's cord connector at the rear side.
  2. On the operational panel, press the Power button to turn on the printer.
  3. When the printer's display panel turns on, set the language followed by country/region.
  4. Set the date & time and then tap OK.

Step-3: Install the ink cartridges

  1. Open the printer's front cover and wait until the print head returns to its original position.
  2. Unpack the ink cartridge and peel off the protective film covering the contacts.
  3. Insert the cartridge into its slot aligning with the installation guide.
  4. Tap Next on the display panel to install another ink cartridge.
  5. Install the other ink cartridges and touch Next in the same way.
  6. Now, tap Exit to finish the installation and close the front cover.
  7. When the printer starts mixing the ink, you will hear a noise. Wait till the noise stops and then proceed with the next step.

Step-4: Feed paper in cassette-1

  1. Take out the paper cassette 1 from the printer and move the paper guides outwards.
  2. Arrange the paper in a stack with the printing face down in the center of the cassette.
  3. Shift the paper guides to touch the paper edges, also ensure not to make it so tight.
  4. Place the cassette inside the printer and continue with the paper settings on the operational panel.
  5. Draw the output tray extension and open the paper output support.

Step-5: Install the printer software

  1. Once the physical setup is complete, install the printer software on your computer.
  2. The printer software enables you to manage and control the printer from the computer.

  2. On the printer's support page, click the Manuals tab to view all the printer user guides.
  3. Select your language and click the Download button beside the user manual.
  4. After downloading the user manual in the PDF format, save it on the computer.

  1. Either open the driver installer file you have downloaded or insert the installation CD into the computer and open the driver installer file.
  2. When the printer setup window opens up on the screen, click Next.
  3. Select Start Setup and follow the guided instructions to complete the connection setup.

  2. On the printer, press the Home button to view the home screen, then select LAN Settings.
  3. Choose the options Wireless LAN setup > Cableless setup, and tap OK.
  4. Next, download the printer driver on the computer and open it to run the installation.
  5. Once the setup wizard window appears, click Next followed by Start Setup.
  6. Read the user's license agreement and click Yes to accept it.

  2. Select 'Connect via wireless router (Recommendation)' and click Next.
  3. On the following screen, select your Canon printer model name and click Next to connect it to the network.
  4. After installing the printer drivers, click the printer name again and click Add.
  5. Complete the setup by following the instructions on the setup wizard and click Exit to close the window.


The Canon printer allows you to scan from the platen glass and the ADF. The scanning tools that can be used are IJ Scan Utility and ScanGear. The below-mentioned steps will help you to set up the scanner before you start scanning.

  1. Connect the scanner and your computer to the same network.
  2. Download and install the Canon scanner driver on the computer.
  3. Load the paper either in the ADF or on the platen glass.
  4. Open the scanner program on the computer, make the necessary scan settings, and start scanning.


  1. After installing the IJ Scan Utility on your computer, connect the computer and the printer to the same network.
  2. Open the Document cover, place the document on the platen glass, and close it.
  3. On the PC, select All apps/All Programs and click the Canon Utilities menu.
  4. Select IJ Scan Utility to open the Canon IJ Scan Utility window.
  5. Choose the Canon printer model from the drop-down menu and click the Settings button.
  6. Under Application Settings, choose Open with an application and configure the other scan settings.
  7. Click OK and then click Document to begin scanning.


  1. Keep the printer and the computer connected to the same network.
  2. Load the original document to be scanned on the printer.
  3. Know the printer's IP address, open a web browser, and input the IP address. Then press Enter to open the remote printer page.
  4. When the page opens up, select Device settings > Set mail server/Test connect > Set mail server.
  5. Enter the relevant mail server settings information and click OK.
  6. Following that, click Test connection to mail server to verify the mail server settings.
  7. On the printer's home screen, tap the Scan icon and select Attach to E-mail.
  8. Select E-mail directly from device and then choose the email recipient's address.
  9. Input the necessary subject and message and choose the document type.
  10. Press either the Color or Black button to perform color or black scanning.


  1. The Canon scanner can scan documents to a USB flash drive. 
  2. Plug the USB drive to the scanner's USB port at the rear side.
  3. Turn on the scanner and load the document you want to scan in ADF or on the platen glass.
  4. Tap Scan on the printer's home screen.
  5. Select the USB flash drive and follow the on-screen instruction to scan the document.


  1. After connecting the scanner and the computer, feed the document in the ADF.
  2. Launch the IJ Scan Utility on the computer and click the Settings button.
  3. The scan types are present on the left panel from which you have to click Document Scan.
  4. For the Select Source menu, choose Document (ADF Manual Duplex).
  5. Click 'Document Scan Orientation Settings…' and select the Binding and Orientation to manually place the document to scan the other side.
  6. Once all the scan settings are made, click OK and select Document to scan.


  1. The Scan Utility from Canon allows you to scan documents, photos, stitched documents, and also enable you to send the scanned documents to email.
  2. The Scan Utility is available on the official Canon support site, from where you can download it.
  3. Once you install the scanner driver (MP driver) on the computer, the Scan Utility appears under the Canon Utilities.


  1. Launch a browser on the computer and go to the official Canon website.
  2. Search for the printer model and click it to open its support page.
  3. Navigate to the Drivers & Downloads section and click the Firmware tab.
  4. The latest firmware available will appear on the screen. Select it and proceed to download it.
  5. Once the download is complete, open the firmware and install it on the computer.


Whenever the printer faces a problem, an error message or code appears on the printer display panel. Read and understand the cause of the error, then try to resolve it using the instructions in the user manual. If you cannot fix the problem, contact our technical team for more support.


Sometimes the printer might go offline when you are operating, so try out the following solutions to bring it back online.

  1. Check the printer's network connection and see that both the printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Open the Devices and Printers window under Settings on the Windows computer, right-click the printer model, and disable the Use Printer Offline menu. 
  3. Restart the printer and make sure it is turned on.


  1. The factory reset of printer means erasing the printer settings and restoring the settings to default factory settings.
  2. On the printer's home screen, tap the Setup icon.
  3. Select Device Settings and then choose Reset all to delete all the printer settings.
  4. If you don't want to factory reset all the printer settings, select the other device settings that you want to reset.


  1. When the paper jam occurs inside the printer's front cover, the printer stops feeding paper and displays the error 1300.
  2. Press the Stop button on the printer’s operation panel to stop printing and then turn off the printer.
  3. Open the front cover and check if any paper is stuck under the print head.
  4. If you notice any paper, then move the print head to the end and carefully remove the paper.
  5. Otherwise, hold the jammed paper with both the hands and slowly remove it.
  6. Close the front door after removing the jammed paper.
  7. Turn on the printer and tap the OK button.
