Why My Canon IJ Scan Utility Is Not Working?

IJ Scan Utility is a scan software that allows you to scan & save photos and documents on your Windows or Mac. This utility makes the scan operation easier and simple. If Canon IJ Scan Utility is not working on your computer, proceed with the simple steps given below.

  1. If you encounter this issue while launching the utility program for the first time, check whether the installed utility file is compatible with your Windows or Mac OS.

  3. Windows: Windows Vista 32 & 64 bit, 10, 8.1, 8, 7.
  4. Mac: macOS 10.13, 10.12, 10.11, 10.10, 10.09, and 10.08.
  5. If an incompatible version of the utility program is installed, then uninstall it and reinstall the correct one on your computer.
  6. If the Canon IJ Scan Utility not working while performing a scan operation, then close the utility pro and restart it after a while.
  7. If the issue persists, then restart your Windows or Mac computer.
